What do you call the person you kiss, hook-up with, have sex with, or would like to do these things with? Whatever the answer is, open and honest communication with them is important. Why? Because you want to make sure you agree about whatever it is you do, or want to do, together.
Relationships, sex, and dating
When things go to the next level and feelings are involved, it can be harder to say what you mean and what you want. When that happens, check in with yourself and see how you feel. Are you comfortable? Do you feel safe? Do you trust this person? Is this a healthy relationship?

Trusted Adults
Chances are, you have an older person in your life that you feel comfortable talking to and that has or will help you find good information. They may be in your family, at school, or in church. These are what we call “Trusted Adults” because they are always there to help you whenever you need them without making you feel bad or scared.
